Steven Johnson Takes Hillary to School Over GTA

This guy is rapidly becoming a hero of mine. In this open letter published in the LA Times, he pretty much calls Hillary's bluff over the current outrage over the Hot Coffee mod/patch/glitch/joke in GTA: SA. He is the guy that wrote "Everything Bad Is Good For You: How Today's Popular Culture Is Actually Making Us Smarter."

Metroid Prime 2D

A group of programmers from the UK are retroizing the Nintendo Gamecube game Metroid Prime from a 3D shooter to a 2D sidescroller. The project isn't complete yet but there are a couple small demos to download.

Google Wins Copycat Web Domain Dispute

The National Arbitration Forum said on Friday that Google Inc. has rights to the Internet domain names googkle.com, ghoogle.com, gfoogle.com and gooigle.com, which are similar to its own google.com domain.
